The key ingredient, rosehip seed oil, is a pressed oil extract taken from the seeds of the wild rose. It contains high levels of linoleic acid which is an essential fatty acid (ie our body cannot make this). Linoleic acid has many useful functions:
- Key component of ceramides – critical hydrating elements of the skin
- Strengthens skin barrier
- Reduces breakouts
Rosehip seed oil is also rich in vitamin C which is a fantastic all-rounder from its anti-oxidant to anti-inflammatory properties.
Rose geranium water gently cleans, softens and tones the skin, nurturing even the most sensitive of skin. Geranium oil provides further anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant protection.
Chondrus Crispus is a seaweed abundant in nutrients including the power anti-oxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. It is also rich in fatty acids which help protect the skin barrier and maintain the skin’s moisture.
With its nourishing properties, Hydraclean is an excellent choice as a daily cleanser.
Wet face with warm water. Lather a small amount of cleanser in your hands and massage it onto the face in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm or cool water. For best results, use twice daily.
Warning: Use caution around the eye area. If the product gets into the eyes, gently rinse with cool water.

Aqua (water)

Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate
A biodegradable cleansing agent with high cleansing and foaming properties.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
A foaming agent derived from coconuts.
Cocamide MIPA
Derived from coconut acid, acts as an emulsifier and stabiliser.
Sodium Chloride
Salt which absorbs water, swells up and holds molecules and compounds together. This also helps to create a thicker consistency.
Chondrus Crispus (Irish Moss) Extract
A type of red algae, rich in potassium chloride with high moisturising properties.
Rosa Moschata Seed Oil
Also known as Rosehip oil. Rich in essential fatty acids e.g. linoleic acid and vitamins C & A. It reduces skin redness, calms inflammatory acne, and hydrates dry skin. It also has regenerative properties so can be used on burns, scars and damaged tissue.
Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil
An essential oil extracted from the flower of Rose Geranium. It controls oily and dry skin by balancing the skin’s oil production.
Citric Acid
An organic compound found in citric fruits. Kills bacteria found on the skin surface.
Sodium Levulinate
A salt from a plant-based acid - levulinic acid. A safe preservative which also moisturises the skin.
Potassium Sorbate
Used as a preservative to reduce the growth of bacteria, fungi, and moulds in the product.
Potassium Benzoate
A safe, anti-fungal preservative used to prolong product shelf life.
Sodium Benzoate
A safe preservative which primarily acts as an anti-fungal agent. It also kills bacteria and prolongs shelf life.
