Environmental Responsibility
CellDerma’s commitment to sustainability has been recognised with the prestigious Most Sustainable Company award (CCR 2023), but our work is far from done. As leaders in the skincare industry, we challenge conventional practices by minimising waste and exploring innovative solutions.
We operate as a predominantly paperless business, offering stockists a cutting-edge digital marketing resource that eliminates the need for printed materials. All training resources are also delivered in digital form, further reducing our environmental footprint. This forward-thinking approach reflects our core value of sustainability and ensures that no resources are wasted unnecessarily.
We are acutely aware of the broader challenges facing the skincare industry, particularly around packaging. While some of our product bottles are recyclable, others are not, and we are actively working toward a future where all our exceptional formulations are housed in fully recyclable or refillable packaging. For nearly four years, we have successfully avoided the use of external box packaging—a decision supported by both stockists and consumers, who have shown an understanding and appreciation for this eco-conscious choice. However, in response to increasing international regulations and consumer demands, we will introduce fully recyclable box packaging in 2025.
Our efforts extend beyond operations. To date, our consumer engagement initiatives have enabled the planting of over 100 trees, a milestone we are proud to celebrate as part of our environmental journey. In addition, our business culture emphasises sustainability, with comprehensive recycling practices implemented across all offices and encouragement for staff to adopt eco-friendly habits in their home lives.
Social Responsibility
CellDerma strives to empower and support its community—both internally and externally. From the outset, we recognised the wastefulness of traditional marketing methods, which often result in unused printed materials that go un-recycled. Instead, we provide our stockists with free access to an extensive digital marketing platform, enabling them to download exactly what they need, when they need it, without contributing to unnecessary waste.
This innovative approach stems from the vision of our Founder, Dr. Dev Patel, who has seen firsthand, through his own clinic, how traditional skincare practices can fall short in sustainability. By addressing these inefficiencies, we help stockists operate more effectively and responsibly while setting a new standard for the industry.
Internally, our staff is not only encouraged but inspired to embrace sustainability in their everyday lives. Through a shared commitment to recycling, waste reduction, and other green initiatives, we aim to foster an environmentally conscious workplace culture that ripples into the wider community.

We also take proactive steps to reduce our carbon footprint through company-wide policies, such as our travel policy, which restricts unnecessary travel for sales and other staff. By encouraging remote collaboration and prioritising eco-friendly transportation options, we minimise emissions while maintaining operational efficiency.
